A few weeks ago, I had the pleasure of photographing sweet Ace and his family at Meridian Hill Park in DC. Ace just turned one, and his lovely mother, Angela, wanted pictures of him and out-of-town family to celebrate his first birthday. It was a muggy afternoon, but Ace didn’t seem to care – he had a blast playing with his toys and his cousin Bea. Thanks for letting me capture this special occasion. Here are a few of my favorites:
I had the great pleasure of spending a morning last weekend with Beth, Nicole, and Joseph, their newborn son.
Seph, as they call him, was born in February and is already ready to explore the world! Beth and Nicole most look forward to traveling with him, which is not surprising, seeing as the couple met in Mali while serving in the Peace Corps. Beth’s mom tagged along for a part of the session, too. It was great meeting all of you! You’ll find a few of my personal favorites below.
Yesterday Megan and Eric’s baby boy Finn discovered the outside world for the first time! This was my first time visiting a newborn and friend in the hospital and wow, I have nothing but admiration for what Megan worked through yesterday morning. The end result seemed like it was worth it though 🙂 Finn Michael was born around 8:00am on January 20th. He weighs 7lbs 11oz and is 21 inches long. He is just perfect! Congratulations to Eric, who I know is heartbroken to not be able to be here (he is deployed), and Megan!
