Last weekend, I spend the afternoon with my step-brother Aaronn, his son Braeden, and his beautiful wife Nancy at Jones Point Park. They brought along their adorable, so well behaved, dog Toby. I had so much fun walking around the park with them and capturing some gorgeous sunset lighting. Here are a few of my favorites:

Last weekend I met Luke, Julie, and their little boy Hank at Jones Point Park in Alexandria, VA. I’ve known this couple from our days in the Marine Corps down at Lejeune and it’s been so fun to watch them become parents, and then watch Hank grow. Here are a few of my favorites from their session:

This intelligent and fun couple met overseas and are preparing for their first big trip as a new family. It was great to meet you all and best of luck with the move! Ryan + Carrie + Grace + Owen + Jack

Ryan, Carrie, and their three children are pretty incredible people. I’ve  been photographing their children, Grace, Owen, and Jack, for a number of years now and really enjoy watching them all grow. I know it can’t be easy, but Ryan and Carrie are pretty amazing parents and make it seem easy. I had the recent pleasure of takingfamily photographs of them at Green Spring Gardens in Alexandria, VA. It was a cold morning, but they braved through it – and I even got some smiles. I hope you guys enjoy the rest of Fall and thank you for letting me be a part of your family for a morning. Below are a few of my favorite photographs from the session. Shrout-2 Shrout-3 Shrout-100Shrout-5 Continue reading “Ryan + Carrie + Grace + Owen + Jack”

Jennifer+Arthur+Caleb at Meridian Hill Park

This past weekend, I had the pleasure of capturing Arthur and Jennifer’s little family – soon to expand by one! Their 17-month old son Caleb made the morning fun. We simply followed him around the park and watched him have a blast climbing steps (which Meridian Hill Park has plenty of!), play with sticks, and pet every passing dog.
